FEAR NOT!

Did you know the Bible often talks about not fearing or a rendition of not fearing? Some folks say up to 365, others say around 70. Regardless of the number of times the Bible instructs us to fear not, the point is that God is giving us a message. Have trust and faith in Him and Fear Not!
What would be included in any "rendition" of fear not? What about being anxious, worrying, afraid, and even fretting? Can you think of any more renditions?
God always asks us to trust Him, and cast all our cares on Him, for He cares for us (Peter 5:7). In Luke 12:32, God says, "Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom", and "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own

understanding..."
What would you say is the opposite of fear? I would say trust and faith. God even points to trusting in Philippians 4:6 when he says, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
God has been showing me that while I don't fret or worry about everything, there are quite a few things that I am anxious about (which points to worrying). I wanted to share that I have been talking to God quite a bit about this subject of faith and trust. You see, I was diagnosed at 13 with scoliosis (curvature of the spine) and wore a Milwaukee brace for 5 years. In the past year, it appears that the nerves in my back are being irritated due to some nerve compression, and I'm opposed to someone operating on my back. I've gotten my core strong, I'm stretching, and I've been studying the bible about healing and what we accept in our lives (situations, diagnoses, and more) or reject. I'm looking at how this lines up with God's word.
What have I found? God knows how we are made, and hence, tells us what to think about, to trust, have faith, and how to live with and love one another. He does this as He knows (as He created us) how we can thrive and not just survive. He's impressing upon me, in my life, that I am not to foster ANY NEGATIVE, and worry, anxiety, fretting, and fear are all negative. Just faith and trust in our good, good Father. Matthew 6: 25 - 34 is all about why we are not to worry. It shows what our Heavenly Father will provide us, yet we still worry or are anxious because we don't trust or believe God's word.
So, how can I overcome my fear, worry, anxiety, and fretting? Just by believing?
I recommend:
Reading, thinking about, and studying the scriptures mentioned as references below, over and over.
Determine what God is teaching you and take those thoughts to Him and pray about them.
Journal what you are learning.
Believe in God's word to you and let go of the worry, anxiety, fretting, and fear.
Trust and come to God as little children in faith.
My paster once mentioned, "demand of yourself (name the demand)"; in this situation, it would be the demand of yourself, faith. Demand of yourself, trust in God.
We get to require of ourselves, to live as God says to live and let go of all negative, as He knows what's best for us, as He made us. He set up this world in the beginning and knows how it works. Why not listen to the creator of us and of the world!
